Director Naval Sales Support
Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding (DSNS) is renowned for its highly successful series of SIGMA Naval Combatants. The SIGMA concept is entirely flexible and can accommodate specific customer platform and combat system requirements.
Multi Mission locations on the OPV 2 take versatility to a total new level. Focus was given to the Bridge, Hangar and Bay. The new vessel is able to take mission dedicated equipment onboard, causing it to be lean and clean.
Many naval tasks allow for flexible clustering in compact auxiliary vessels. This adaptable multifunctionality is the conceptual basis for the DAMEN range of Multi-Role Auxiliary Vessels (MRAV).

Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding (DSNS), established in Vlissingen has a rich tradition of naval shipbuilding with its original navy roots stemming back more than 140 years. At that time the Royal Schelde shipyard, based in Vlissingen in the Netherlands, was known worldwide for its quality shipbuilding, both in the naval and commercial sector.
Damen Shiprepair Vlissingen is within easy reach of the major North Sea shipping routes and in the centre of the ARA ports. With the North Sea only six miles away, costly diversions are avoided. Being directly accessible with an entrance width of 500 metres, almost any size and type of ship can enter the harbour at any state of the tide.
