"MTS Vulcan 2" Delivery Details
In February 2012, the Stan Tug 1606 'MTS Vulcan 2', was delivered to her owners MTS Marine & Towage Services Group. In April 2011, a similar vessel, 'MTS Vulcan' was already delivered to the same owner. The 'MTS Vulcan 2' is the first Stan Tug 1606 fitted with a towing winch. With open stern and deck crane she is suitable for simple anchor handling duties for which real funnels are fitted to improve the air quality working on the aft deck. An A-frame has been fitted for plough dredging.
