Damen Services offers customers all services necessary for a smooth start-up in the first phase; from Customer Finance, Civil Works and Technical Cooperation to Commissioning & Trials, Ship Delivery and Modular Construction.

Customer Finance

Damen Customer Finance offers a wide range of financing arrangements to support our customers with their purchase and in realising their dreams. These arrangements are available for any type of vessel, equipment or related services, including the prefabricated shipbuilding kits supplied by Damen Technical Cooperation. That’s what we call service from the start.

Civil Works

Damen Civil Works provides a wide range of maritime construction services. These services cover the interface between ship and shore. We combine the strength of global design with the local workforce. This provides practical solutions, local employment, transfer of knowledge and skill development.

Technical Cooperation

Damen Technical Cooperation enables our customers to build their Damen vessel locally, anywhere in the world. We provide our clients with a prefabricated shipbuilding kit and can, on request, combine this with expert assistance, training and backup.

Commissioning & Trials

Damen ensures that all shipboard equipment is correctly installed and functioning. All newly built and overhauled ships can undergo an intense period of Commissioning & Trials prior to delivery. This results in improved product quality and increased uptime and this is coupled with professional advice on operating the vessel. Everything is fit and ready to perform.

Ship Delivery Services

Damen’s Ship Delivery Services makes sure our customers receive their vessels safely, clean and ready for operation. It means we offer total care of all logistic services through our worldwide service support network. Our Ship Delivery Services include towage and heavy marine lift but also own-keel transport. We make it as easy as possible for our customers.

Damen Modular Construction

Damen Services supplies modular construction solutions in barge and dock formations. Our solutions give our customers flexibility and independence for all their barge and dock requirements. It’s ideal for small and low-risk start-ups. Our dock and barge solutions are easy to transport, maintain and operate. These are flexible solutions able to grow along with our customer’s business.
