DAMEN SHIPYARDS GROUP STRENGTHENS EXECUTIVE BOARD
As of April 1st, Ronald Suhlmann will become Chief Financial Officer of Damen Shipyards Group. He succeeds Tom Touber, who held this position ad interim for two years.
Ronald started his career at Ballast Nedam and moved to Damen in 2015, where the Register Controller was both Financial Director of the Naval and Yachting divisions. With his appointment as CFO, Suhlmann becomes a member of the Executive Board of Damen.
In addition, the areas of risk, compliance and legal are invested more firmly within the Executive Board through the creation of the new role of Chief Counsel. As of April 1st, this will be filled by Mario Herrebout, current general counsel and company secretary. Mario has been in service with Damen Naval since 2009 and switched to Damen Group at the end of 2019.

DAMEN SHIPYARDS GROUP VERSTERKT EXECUTIVE BOARD
Per 1 april wordt Ronald Suhlmann Chief Financial Officer van Damen Shipyards Group. Hij volgt hiermee Tom Touber op, die deze functie twee jaar ad interim vervulde.
Suhlmann begon zijn carrière bij Ballast Nedam en stapte in 2015 over naar Damen, waar de Register Controller de afgelopen jaren Financial Director was van zowel de divisies Naval als Yachting. Met zijn benoeming tot CFO, wordt Suhlmann ook lid van de Executive Board van Damen.
Daarnaast worden de gebieden risk, compliance en legal steviger belegd binnen de Executive Board door het creëren van de nieuwe rol van Chief Counsel. Deze wordt per 1 april ingevuld door Mario Herrebout, huidig general counsel en company secretary. Herrebout is sinds 2009 in dienst bij Damen Naval en eind 2019 overgestapt naar Damen Group.
