New home port for Stan Tug 2207
Up till 2014, this Stan Tug 2207 had been working in Morocco port. In that year we assisted with the sale to present owners Williams Shipping Marine in the UK. She was renamed Willpower and has been in their fleet up till now.
This Damen tugboat, built in 2000, producing ± 28 tonnes of bollard with her two Caterpillar main engines, has been proven to be a reliable workhorse. From the early 90’s to the early 2000’s, 57 yard numbers left our yard.
This summer she was spotted on our website by Foyle Marine Contractors LTD, two months later the contract was signed and now she will be sailing to her new home port: Dublin, Ireland. Last year Foyle already acquired a Damen Shoalbuster 2208 through our office, so with this Stan Tug 2207 they are getting a nice Damen fleet of tug and workboats.
We are confident this will be a successful cooperation and wish the new owners safe sailings.
