World Wide Support Ship 8316

SD Victoria

The SD "Victoria" was built for Serco as an World Wide Support ship. Serco is an service provider to the Royal Navy and operates several Damen built vessels of which the tugs supporting the HMS "Queen Elizabeth" are also well known. The vessels caries out several supporting and training operations for the navy and have a large storage hangar on the main deck level.

Offshore Support Vessel 8316

MV Besant

In July 2015 the MV "Besant" was delivered to Serco Asia Pacific, the service provider to the Royal Australian Navy. It operates as an offshore support vessel to provide submarine rescue services. The vessel has an large aft deck for containerised modules, and A-frame and is outfitted by the client with a Submarine Rescue System.

MV Stoker

In 2016 the second Submarine Rescue Vessel MV "Stoker" was delivered. The MV "Stoker" is the larger sister vessel to the MV "Besant". In offers the same functionality, but due to the 10 metres extra length it boasts a larger main deck and is able to store more containers and equipment.
