  • SL Tiger

    In October 2012 a powerful Damen ASD 3212 tug named ‘SL Tiger’ was delivered to Smit Lamnalco after successful completion of sea trials in Romania. The handing over took place at the building yard Damen Shipyards Galati and following the maiden voyage of this new Smit Lamnmalco fleet addition, the tug will commence SMB terminal operations in Iraq

  • Kin

    In June 2012 the ASD Tug 3212 ‘Kin’ was delivered to Colombian tugboat operator Intertug S.A. After the previous delivery of the ASD TUg 3213 ‘Tanok’ in December 2011, the 'Kin' is another contribution to the expanding tugboat fleet of the Colombian family owned operator. The powerful ASD Tug 3212 with a bollard pull of more than 75 ton, will help Intertug to maintain and expand its dominant position in the Caribean tugboat market.

  • Multratug 19

    Multraship has taken delivery of a new Damen ASD Tug 3212. This modern, innovative tug represents a completely new Damen ship type and a milestone in ASD tug design.

    The new ASD Tug 3212 ‘Multratug 19’ was built to a completely new design specification developed after a period of intensive research, resulting in a tug that can perform to maximum efficiency in rough weather conditions.

    ‘Multratug 19’ is the second vessel to be built by Damen for Multraship, following the 2010 delivery of the newbuilding ASD Tug 3213, ‘Multratug 3’, built at Damen’s Vietnam yard.

  • Baladha and Bulgu

    After an extensive testing and training program the first two vessels of the new Damen ASD Tug 3212 design, were delivered to their proud owners in Australia. After delivery to a coal terminal in North Queensland, Damen will start a specific training program that consist of manoeuvring and technical training. Both ASD Tugs 3212, named ‘Baladha’ and ‘Bulgu’, will be delivered with render recovery winches, a revolutionary winch design specifically for operation in harsh weather conditions.
