  • Tayeb 1

    In June 2013, the first of two Stan Tugs 2608 was delivered to Offshore Maroc. Both ships will be operating in the Ports of Casablanca and Jorf Lasfar in Morocco. A total of eight (8) Stan Tug 2608’s have been sold to Offshore Maroc and her joint venture partners. Four have now been delivered to various ports in Morocco.

    In order to upgrade their fleet, our longstanding relation SCRA from Casablanca has taken delivery of their seventh Damen tug.
    Quality, builder and product reliability, as well as accurate pricing have been the main reason for the SCRA to come to Damen for the past 25 years.
    Together with their subsidiary Fedala Tug, a total of four similar tugs will be delivered within the next two years.
    This brand new Stan Tug 2608 is intended for harbour and coastal duties.

  • Zaria

    After successful trials held at Damen Shipyards Gorinchem, the Netherlands, the 'Zaria' commenced her maiden voyage to her new Owners: Nigerian Ports Authorities, Lagos. The 'Zaria', named after the birth place of the Vice President of Nigeria, is the first Stan Tug 2608 for NPA. The vessel was delivered including a bowthruster and an external fire fighting and salvage system. The 'Zaria' will be joining other Damen Vessels operating at various ports in Nigeria.

    In March 2012 one (of two) Damen Stan Tugs 2608 was delivered to J.L. Tug in Morocco. The vessel will be mainly used for harbour towage and occasional salvage duties.

  • Medregal

    The Damen Stan Tug 2608 ‘Medregal’ was successfully constructed under Damen license in cooperation with Damen Technical Cooperation by Tandanor, Argentina and delivered to Marco Marine LTD., Greece February 2012. The bollard pull of the ship is 51.2 tons, speed 12.7 knots.

  • Al Iradah 7

    Following the previous delivery of a sister vessel in 2010, the Socialist Ports Company has taken delivery of its new Damen Stan Tug 2608 ‘Al IRADAH 7’. In the same way as her sister vessel, this heavy-duty harbour tug with a bollard pull of 47.6 tons, was built under a Damen Technical Corporation contract, together with our Libyan partner shipyard Dar Assina'a in Misurata. The Libyan company successfully operates a fleet of 29 Damen vessels of which the first was delivered in 1991.
