Integrated delivery package supports operational readiness for the Colombian Navy
Damen has successfully delivered a Stan Patrol 4207 to the Colombian Navy in Buenaventura, Colombia. The vessel will operate from the Pacific Naval Base in Bahía Málaga, supporting missions along Colombia’s Pacific coast.
To ensure the vessel was ready for immediate operational deployment, the scope included commissioning activities, a comprehensive 10-day crew training programme and the supply of an Initial Provisioning (IP) spare parts package. This approach enabled the Colombian Navy to bring the vessel into service with confidence, supported by the knowledge, tools and essential spare parts required from day one.
As part of the delivery process, sea trials were conducted to verify the vessel’s operational performance. The Stan Patrol 4207 successfully met the agreed acceptance criteria, confirming its readiness for service and its ability to support the Navy’s operational requirements.
Beyond the vessel delivery itself, the project focused on ensuring a smooth transition into operation. Crew familiarisation, technical support and the availability of essential onboard spares helped reduce the risk of operational interruptions and supported reliable performance from the outset.
The integrated delivery, training and spare parts package enabled the Colombian Navy to deploy the Stan Patrol 4207 quickly and confidently, supporting operational readiness from day one.
