Welcome to our shiprepair yard in Mangalia
Damen Shipyards Mangalia is located on the Black Sea coast of Romania and as of July 2018, is jointly owned by the Damen Shipyards Group and the Romanian Government. Damen is responsible for the operational management of the yard. Opened originally in 1976, Mangalia has built up nearly 40 years of expertise in repairing a wide variety of ships and has an experienced workforce. It is fully equipped and certified for repair and maintenance works on vessels of all sizes.
The new Damen management team, led by Chris Groninger, is now working on further optimising the yard for shiprepair and conversion projects and is actively seeking new business opportunities beyond the yard’s traditional client base.
