Hop into a golf cart and explore the impressive dry docks where craftsmanship and steel come together: from urgent repairs to complete transformations and sustainable green refits. Experience up close how Damen keeps ships operating smoothly and sustainably. Whether you are a true maritime enthusiast or simply curious, this is your chance to see a ship repair yard from the inside.

At the Talent Square, interactive experiences bring the world of shipbuilding and innovation to life. Play a memory game, try welding a small boat, and watch inspiring project and innovation videos. Visit the recruitment bus, take a fun photo, and learn more about career opportunities at Damen. To make the experience even more special, Damen is operating its own ferry service for the event. From ‘het NACO-Huisje’ (behind Amsterdam CS), you can take a direct boat connection to the Damen Shiprepair yard and back. Step aboard and let the adventure begin before you even arrive.

And there’s more: during the Damen Experience, you can also step aboard the navy vessel Zr. Ms. Rotterdam, a 166-metre amphibious transport ship built by Damen. Explore its different decks and get a sense of what it’s like to work on board a naval vessel.
