Used 23.70 m Patrol Tender sold to Chile

We are pleased to announce the successful sale of a used 23.70 m Patrol Tender via Damen Trading & Chartering to STS Marítima SpA (Chile), completed on 14 April 2026.

Thanks to our strong marketing reach, in depth knowledge of this specific vessel type, and hands on support throughout the process, we facilitated a smooth owner transfer of the vessel “AQUARIUS NL” from Mariserve B.V. (Urk) to the Buyer in Chile. Our scope included assistance with all required documentation and helping Buyer in organizing a non self sailing transport of the vessel from Urk to the shipyard for works of Buyer and subsequently to the Heavy Lift (HL) pick up location in Antwerp.

Built in 1986 by Shipyard Schottel Nederland for the Dutch Government, Aquarius NL is currently equipped with two Schottel Rudder Propellers and Mitsubishi main propulsion engines.

Following completion of the Buyer’s works at Damen Shiprepair Oranjewerf in Amsterdam, the vessel - now renamed “STS TRITON” and painted in STS colours - will be shipped from Antwerp to Chile in early May 2026 on board a Heavy Lift vessel.
