The Fishery Research vessels are equipped for stocktaking, testing gear, hydrographic and oceanographic operations. The vessels can also be used to carry out environmental, marine, geological sampling and seabed mapping. Featuring cutting-edge technologies, Damen’s Ocean Research Vessel range is wide. Additionally, we offer vessels designed by third-parties, such as the Baia Farta. Through Damen Technical Cooperation (DTC), Damen also provides customers with the option to build a Damen design at a yard of their choice. Close attention is paid to the design, construction and outfitting of our Research Vessels in order to minimise noise and vibration both on board and underwater.
