We provide repair, maintenance and conversion services through our dedicated repair yards, which have extensive experience in naval projects. By combining this hands-on shiprepair expertise with the knowledge and engineering capabilities available across the Damen Shipyards Group, we deliver comprehensive support throughout a vessel's lifecycle. Through our close collaboration with sister company Damen Naval, the Netherlands’ sole naval original equipment manufacturer (OEM), we also draw on 150 years of naval expertise and a deep understanding of the defence sector’s requirements and challenges.
Naval repair capabilities
Our strategically located yards are able to undertake maintenance and repair projects for naval and auxiliary vessels of all sizes. This includes covered drydocks up to 215-meters, enabling refurbishment and maintenance work to take place in all conditions. Here, we execute projects for the Royal Netherlands Navy and navies from around the world. Our yard in Curaçao provides support to our naval customers deployed in the Caribbean region.
Secure naval facilities
We understand the importance of security when working on naval and defence vessels. Our facilities are equipped to provide enhanced security measures beyond standard ISPS requirements, ensuring a controlled environment throughout the project.
Secure zones can be established for both dry dock and quayside operations, with measures including fenced-off areas, access control, turnstiles and video surveillance. This enables us to safeguard personnel, assets and sensitive operations while maintaining efficient project execution.

In addition to our repair yards, we operate a dedicated Harbour & Voyage repair service. When maintenance or repair work is required, our teams can support you on-site, minimising disruption to your operations.
