Graving docks on Damen yards
At Damen Shiprepair Rotterdam (Botlek), the Wilhelmina Dock is one of Europe's largest graving drydocks and forms the centrepiece of the yard’s repair and conversion capabilities. Measuring 405 metres in length and 90 metres in width, the dock accommodates some of the world's largest vessels and offshore structures, including drilling rigs, semi-submersibles, jack-ups, and large commercial ships. Its scale, deep-water access, and extensive crane infrastructure make it an ideal facility for complex repairs, major conversions, life-extension projects, and offshore energy-related works.
