Modular Ferry solutions
We develop Modular Ferries together with the operator, based on route requirements such as draught, infrastructure, passenger flow and vehicle mix. Using container-sized modules, we transport the vessel to site and assemble it locally, enabling ferry operations where conventional delivery is not feasible.
Built on robust, proven technology, the ferry remains straightforward to maintain and delivers predictable performance. The result is a ferry configured for operational requirements with the flexibility to adjust capacity or layout as demand evolves.

Selection of tailor-made Modular Ferries
A government transport authority in Tanzania needed a safe RoRo ferry for a critical river crossing, carrying passengers and vehicles year-round where bridges were not feasible. The vessel had to be delivered inland in modules, assembled on site, operate in shallow water and load at unprepared riverbanks. We addressed the challenge with our Modular Ferry 2010, backed by proven modular shipbuilding, local assembly support, training and lifecycle support.
