Creating impact together
Foundation Damen Support is dedicated to helping colleagues and their family members who are affected by a crisis or facing difficult circumstances. Through fundraising and financial support, we help provide assistance when it is needed most. The projects featured on this page highlight some of the initiatives made possible through these collective efforts and the positive impact they have on people's lives.
How do we raise funds?
Damen Maritime Festival
On 2 October, Damen welcomed clients and partners to the 9th Damen Maritime Festival at its headquarters in Gorinchem. In addition to the vessels and maritime innovations on show, a highlight of the day was the clog race. This event, organised by Foundation Damen Support, enabled the Foundation to raise funds for its ongoing work in an entertaining manner.

Annelies Damen returns to Galati
On 15 April, Annelies Damen and Stephanie Kreukniet visited Galati's Community Centre during Easter preparations, presenting Foundation Damen Support's mission and thanking partners for their help.
Easter celebration
On 14 April, Galati's Community Centre held an Easter celebration. As a holiday of deep spiritual hope and renewal for Ukrainians, Foundation Damen Support worked to make the event special.
Kommer Damen visits Community Centre
On 16 January, Damen Chairman Kommer Damen visited Galati's Community Centre to see its support for Ukrainian refugees. Impressed by the children's activities, he highlighted the centre's vital role.

Need
Meanwhile, there is practical need for housing, language lessons, mental help and physical care, like dentist and checkups. ‘Stichting Damen Helpt’ wants to fulfill these needs. Help is necessary, all donations are welcome.
