The multifunctional safe haven in action
LPD
Custom Built Landing Platform Dock
Our Landing Platform Dock's (LPDs) can transport marines with their associated equipment and supplies. They are able to coordinate and support crucial missions from sea to land and back.
The centre of action
In our ever-changing world, it can be of the utmost importance to offer support on land directly from sea. Our Landing Platform Docks (LPDs) can coordinate and support various types of missions such as support for mine hunters, operations against terrorists, evacuation operations and humanitarian/environmental disaster relief.
Amphibious transport ships
Our amphibious transport ships make an important contribution to the expeditionary capability of the armed forces. These ships and associated units can deploy combat power from sea to be enforced on land. When operating on and from the sea, an LPD fulfills an important role with its combination of command and control transport capacities. National and international staff can give leadership to the integrated operations of fleet and marine units from an LPD.
