Strong, compact and manoeuvrable
Our twin screw Stan Tugs are designed to get the job done with minimal fuss. They are compact and manoeuvrable – perfect for working in tight, confined areas – and have a strength well above that required by class, boosted by local strengthening and heavy duty fendering. The vessels require minimal crewing, ensuring both efficiency and safety combined.
Easy to operate
The comfortable ergonomic design and user-friendly layout of the wheelhouse and consoles allow operators to focus completely on the task at hand.
Keeping maintenance at a minimum
Closed cooling water systems help keep maintenance under control. Corrosion is held at bay with closed constructions on main deck, neat, continuous welding seams, stainless steel moving parts, flush deck foundations and durable, epoxy paint.
Standing by for IMO Tier III
The Stan Tugs series is compatible with the Damen Marine NOx Reduction system. This selective catalytic reduction system converts emissions into nitrogen, water and CO2, reducing harmful emissions by 70%.
